Default Half Moon Cay

We will be cruising on the Pride October 5. What is there to do on Half Moon Cay except lay on the beach and swim? Can you go back to the ship at any time or do you have to stay there all day? Also, any suggestions as special things to do on St. Thomas, St. John or St. Martin.

In my opinion Half Moon Cay is the nicest of all the private islands. It's simply goreous!!!

They do have some "excursions" like banana boat rides etc, as well as rentals of floaties, small sail craft, and if I recall peddleboats.

You can go back and forth to the ship as much as you choose to.

Like Kuki............Half Moon Cay IMO is the prettiest of all the private islands. We have been to them all except Disney's, (which I understand is beautiful too.)

We went para sailing at Half Moon Cay. There are tons of things to do.

Friends of ours couldn't seem to make up their minds and were back and forth from the ship to the island several times !! :-)

I agree that this is a beautiful island. Just think you get to go to a giant beach party and you don't even have to bring the pickles or the potato chips. It is a fun day and yes you can go back on board by tander at any time.

In St. Thomas I would recommend the island tour. It is interesting to ride around the island and learn about it's history while stopping at mountain tops for views and pictures. And it gets you back into town soon enough to visit the shops and bars.

how is the snorkeling at Half Moon Cay? Do you have to do the snorkeling tour to see a lot of sealife or can you just snorkel from shore and see just as much?
