im not bringing either of mine- but thats just because i dont feel like ill be able to get my hair/make up done in a way to properly compliment any of my real formal gowns. im sure ill be underdressed (SURE of it). im wearing a vintage cocktail dress. but no one in my family is dressing up real fancy. and plus, im a teenager, imnot supposed to know any better. Im sure a prom dress would be lovely, especially of other in your party are dressing up to the same degree.

yeh u should definately take it along. my theory is that u can never be over dressed on formal nites coz there will always be ppl more over dressed than u. its normally the case of being under dressed

On my cruise a few weeks ago so many people were in my opinion overdressed.. but I think you should be more concerned with being underdressed.. I saw people in fancy skirts but at the same time I saw teenage guys in tuxs.. so its your own choice, but I'd say bring it

I dont think a prom dress would be appropriate. a little too dressy. Just wear a nice dress but not PROM...there were like 2 or 3 girls in my dinner with prom dresses who looked ridiculous & overdressed...they stuck out "like sore thumbs" as stupid as that sounds...and everyone noticed them...weather u wanna meet guys or not...thats not the way
