Default A Take Home Goody Bag

Since my Massachusetts vanity plate says shop*r, you know what makes me happy...Onboard the ship I am compelled to buy a little sompin, sompin) Are you the same way, or could you care less...

During the week, I saunter back into the shops, looking for something to make me smile, and I always find it, Sometime the ship has great perfume deals, and those sidewalk sales are always a hit with the crowds.
I like to buy the cd of the bands that play at the pool, but last cruise, they didn't have one....that was a first

Yes, always have to buy something from the ship shops. Just never know what until I see it!

Oh yes, I just have to have somethin'. Who knows what it will be. Always looking at the fine jewelry, however, usually don't buy it. Tried to hint to DH to buy me a necklace for my birthday and he failed. I went back to buy it for myself and IT WAS GONE! I just knew he bought it for me, boy was I wrong.

Sometimes it is something practical, sometimes totally useless and fun!

Default Gotta do it!

I have to buy something on those days at sea. One can only gamble, eat, swim and sun so much! I like the jewelry sales. I got some nice amber last year at a fair price. I would love to see more cosmetics though. We can't have it all....

I like to buy Christmas ornaments.
Since we are going on a December cruise this year, I am hoping to have a vast selection -- on the ship and in the ports! I may have to buy another tree for all of them!

Fruitcake, When we were on our cruise end of Jan/05, there were still lots of Xmas decorations in the shop(Do they keep them out all year? And no, they were not on sale.) and I bought the cutest one with a stingray on a Xmas wreath.
Since we are going just after Xmas this year, I am sure they will still have them out. A cute, unique souvenir of the cruise(and not too $$!).

I always buy a commuter mug the first day. I carry it around the entire cruise, full of either coffee or juice. Then, I get a cruise memory every morning....sipping out of one now~Of course, that does not prohibit me from buying something else that just grabs me, but I always come home with that mug

Default A Take-Home Goody Bag

I love to prawl thru the ship's shops, especially the jewelry shop! I don't always buy, but last year on the Diamond, I bought just that: diamond earrings at a good price. I also like cosmetics but usually don't buy unless I've forgotten or depleted my supply of something.

One of my favourite take-homes was a shorts and crop-top PJ set, with Caribbean Cruising all over it, I think I bought it on Carnival. I wear it all the time and think of cruising!
I also buy Christmas ornaments from each ship/and/or port we've visited.
