Default Limited use of Wheechair in Chichen Itza Excursion

We have one of our company in a small frame wheel chair. She does not need a lift to board and her friend can carry the to a seat if needed. The land around Chechen Itza looks fairly flat. Can someone with these limitations be able to visit and see the building from ground level? Royal Caribbean does not offer a handicapped tour there but we wonder if she really needs special accommodations. If anyone has been there, let us know about the lay of the land.

We are also looking for similar accessible tours in Costa Maya.
