Celebrity Eclipse Transatlantic 10/12 - anyone else sailing?

Hi,
My name is Paul (62 year old widower) SWM and I'll be sailing alone on this transatlantic cruise. Looking forward to relaxation and having some fun. Just curious if any other singles will be onboard.

I wish I could say we were going with you, but alas, not this time.

Just wanted to say if you've not been on the Celebrity Solstice-class ships yet, that you will absolutely LOVE this ship! We were on the Eclipse last year and I'm here to say it's one of our all-time favorite ships.

Have a wonderful cruise and let us know all about it when you get back.

Pete, thanks for responding to my message. Sorry you won't be joining me on this awesome cruise - I'll have a shrimp cocktail for you -

. I love Celebrity and am certainly looking forward to experiencing the Solstice Class - grass and all.

We're anxiously awaiting an opportunity to sail on the Reflection. They say it's awesome, but unfortunately, I've also heard it'll be their last Solstice-class ship. That's definitely sad news.

As for the shrimp cocktail, I love those! The bad thing is that they've cut back from 6 to 5 shrimp. Just their way of trying to save money. Doesn't sound like much, but if you figure how many shrimp that saves through the entire fleet, that's several thousands pounds they're no longer having to buy each year. Just a sign of the times.

The only thing we weren't crazy about was the glass-blowing area. We really like that they did away with that on the newer ships and put a restaurant back there - makes alot more sense.
