Looking at the Viking LeHavre trip for next April/May. Anyone done this? Do you fly into Paris and then bus to Le Havre? I could not find an airport in Le Havre.

8 of us (all friends) just returned from this vacation trip. Great trip. You fly into Paris and take a bus ride to LeHavre. Takes over 2 hours..........remember, takes 8 days to come back!!
We left at the end of June. Great weather. Not too hot yet. Early spring may be a bit cold and could be rainy. Sites and locations are great along the river.
How was LeHavre: Was the area around the ship nice? Did you bus to Honfleur or dock there? Was your Seine cruise a night cruise? Where did you birth in Paris?
This is a wonderful trip--loved every minute! We flew into Paris last September and went on to Honfleur with Viking's transfer service.
This year (2005) Viking is docking in Le Havre instead of Honfleur because they are using a newer ship that is too large to dock in Honfleur--at least that was the explanation I got. Another change for 2005 is that an excursion to the Beaches of Normandy is included--it wasn't even an optional tour in 2004.
