Smile Is there an extra cost?

For sacking and looting small French villages?

You know like the Vikings ... Oh well if you haven't chuckled yet nothing is going to change that

Most of the excursions are included on the Viking River cruises. "The Plunder and Pillage" excursion is an additional $100/pp but does include village sacking, cattle rustling and something to do with sheep.

Seriously: I can't wait to do a river cruise. Their popularity has grown so much in the last few years, as well as their fleets that they must be doing something right.

Take care,
Mike

We absolutely loved our river cruise and can't wait to go again. Now, if we can only get the money together!

But in all honesty, when we go again, it'll probably not be with Viking. We prefer a little nicer. It's like with ocean cruises; if you want cheap, you go with Carnival, if you want nicer there are others from which to choose.

Thumbs up

Try Tauck; their boats are smaller, attention to detail is superb and service is great. ( and most everything is included)
