Default new to the board....

Good morning....

I just wanted to say that I'm new to this board...

I'm hoping to get married next year on Holland America however, my husband to be and I can not agree in which island in the Southern Carribean to tie the noose (er knot) on....

However, I would like some advice... my only request for the gown is that it have a train that goes all the way to Toledo....

What do you think of this:

Also, which island do most of you like best... St Maartin or Antigua...

Thanks in advance,

Default St. Maarten

katlady sent me this link:

My bride and I were thinking of getting married onboard the Carnival Liberty as it departs from St. Maarten at 5 p.m., Dec. 1, 2009, because the sun and moon will share the heavens, as if symbolicly, at that time, until almost 6 p.m.

Presuming the weather's fair. But it looks like Carnival doesn't do weddings onboard in that port, so I'm thinking of having it in Miami, which is on the list.

Make sure that whatever place you choose conveys to U.S. Some marriages in other countries are not recognized as legally binding here in the States. Of course, Miami would work as it is technically part of US. Just doesn't always feel like it...which is why I love Miami.
