Roger Daltrey, Singer for The Who

The Who's Roger Daltrey joins the Moody Blues Cruise 2014 lineup

In March of this year, The Moody Blues Inaugural Cruise brought legendary rock bands to the high seas with a 5-night sailing aboard MSC Poesia.

As CruiseMates.com reported in July, The Moody Blues will again set sail aboard MSC (this time, the newly-launched Divina) and this afternoon it was announced that Roger Daltrey of the Who has been added to the star-studded line-up of rock and progressive rock legends who will perform during the April 2, 2014 the 5-night sailing from Miami to Nassau and Grand Turk.

In this very rare U.S. appearance, Daltrey will perform full-blown WHO sets with his full touring band that includes Frank Simes on guitar, Scott Devours on drums, Jamie Hunting on bass, Loren Gold on keyboard and Simon Townshend (younger brother of Pete Townshend) on guitar.

Joining Daltrey and The Moody Blues for the sailing are The Zombies, The Orchestra (starring ELO), Starship, The Strawbs, Little River Band, Strawbs, Joe Williams of Toto, Glass Hammer, Sound of Contact featuring Simon Collins (Phil Collins’ son), Danny Vaughn performing the music of the Eagles, The Prog Rock Orchestra, Heavy Mellow, Mellow Yellow and Cheap Thrill.

Fares begin at $999 per person, double occupancy.
