Carnival has its first-ever Baltic cruises on the brand new Carnival Splendor. Carnival Freedom is returning to Mediterranean this summer. The first time Carnival has two ships in Europe at once.
Celebrity: four ships in Europe: Scandinavia and Russia, Norwegian fjords, the western Mediterranean with north Africa, and eastern Mediterranean itineraries. Five new ports for Celebrity: Harwich, Cherbourg, Gijon (Spain), Brest and Split.
Crystal's first world cruise includes Europe. Other voyages: North Cape to Polar Ice Cap, 15 Mediterranean itineraries with Black Sea, Greece, Turkey and the Middle East. British Isles cruises feature overnights in Dublin and Edinburgh.
Costa: 53 itineraries to 112 ports on year-round departures in the Med and northern Europe. Costa Concordia and Costa Serena both offer year-round European cruises.
Cunard's Queen Victoria's features several themed Mediterranean voyages, most of them 12-days.
Holland America: six ships (including the brand new Eurodam) on 57 itineraries March through November. Northern Europe, Norwegian fjords, Mediterranean, Greek Isles and western Europe.
Hurtigruten's year-round Norwegian Coastal above the Arctic Circle, calls at 34 ports in 12-day roundtrips, seven-day northbound and six-day southbound voyages. The 16-day features the Arctic's Spitsbergen Islands. MS Fram offers Greenland, with PolarCirkel boat landings from May through September.
MSC Poesia arrives in April 2008. Air/sea packages from North America for 7-night European itineraries on all seven MSC ships featuring the Eastern Med, Greek Isles, Western Mediterranean, Russia & The Baltic and Scandinavian fjords.
NCL offers three Jewel-class ships -- Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Jewel, May through November. Norwegian Jade sails for the local UK market, departing roundtrip from Southampton.
Oceania adds several new ports on 42 Mediterranean and Greek Isles itineraries. A new 14-day Barcelona to Istanbul trip includes Egypt, Israel, Greece, Turkey and Italy. Sailings range from 10 to 16 days.
Princess Cruises: six ships calling at 115 ports on 32 unique itineraries. Five new itineraries combines Scandinavia and Russia with the Mediterranean in a single voyage.
Regent Seven Seas' maiden port calls include Kotor, Montenegro, Koper, Slovenia, and Hvar, Croatia.
