Will86....There is no charge for parking and there is plenty of it. We stayed pre cruise last year (12/02). Room we had was ok. The shuttle to port was fine and we encountered no problems. Coming back on shuttle was another story. While waiting in line, a very rude couple started screaming at us thinking we were trying to get on shuttle ahead of them,( we were only getting back on pavement away from traffic), the husband tried fist fighting with my husband..it was poorly set up and I am sure the people were tired waiting for shuttle for a LONG time to take us back to hotel, so we got a cab back.....this is a good idea as the return shuttle ( only 1) could not accomadate the large crowd waiting....
Was it easy to locate a cab upon return to take you back to the Radisson? We had planned on catching a cab to and from the docks. It's alot cheaper than paying the parking fee at the docks.
I am sure the hotel will call a cab to get you to the dock, but there was very good shuttle service getting there, so you could save on taxi fare going to port........as far as a cab back to hotel, yes it is difficult to get one. I would suggest taking the telephone number of the cab of your choice and calling yourself upon debarkation.....Have a wonderful cruise.
