I went on a cruise aout 4 years ago. I was going to go on a 10 day singles cruise. As always there was a problem traveling as a "Single" because all prices a based on "Double" occupancy. I was willing to share a room but one of the people I had been in contact with about sharing a state room sent me a notice that if I called Orbits and gave them a special voucher number I could get a single (inside) suite for the same price as a double. I caled Orbits and at first they said "No Way" It took about 5 minutes and then Orbits operator came back to me sounding very surprised saying that "Yes" there was a deal on. I ended up with an inside single room costing me about $400.00!! Where did he get that deal/voucher from?? I am thinking of going for a cruise again as a single.
Well, I know several cruise lines do occasionally offer reduced single supplements. There's a cruise travel agent website out there that has a link specifically listing all the ones they know about. Don't know if I can link to it on here, but you'll want To Go there as it were. :-p
