Default Excursion Websites?

Hello everyone,

Going on my first cruise in December 2005. Does anyone know of any websites I can research excursions on (prices states on site would be great)? Ports will be visiting are Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Costa Maya. We want to see the Mayan ruins but what to do some research.

Thanks in advance!

Jennifer

Check the website of the cruiseline that you're going on.

Befor you do anything I would go to the library and get either the Frommers or fodors book on the islands.Read up on them then you can figure out what you want to see, then check the excursions.

Hi,
I can recommend a tour coumpany in Belize that we used. They are very good and not expensive like from the curise ship.
Please read my review on the message about Belize to BC on 11/21
This is a tour company that does not go where the big companys go. there are no crowds, or cheap tourist junk. You see only the Mayan way of like and the natives.
If you would like their e-mail, please send me a message in private.

you can also go to frommer's or fodor's web sites and get some really good information. Your cruise lines web site is a good place to start to get some general information as to what's available. Do a google search.

In Belize I would check out www.coralbreezelimited.com very good company. We took the snorkeling excursion to Caye Caulker. In Cozumel we went to Chanakanaab Park via taxi from the pier for $10 one way plus $10 admission. It is a great place to spend a few hours snorkeling and just relaxing. There are lockers, showers, equiptment rentals and food/drinks available. We went there first, showered and then back to town for some shopping and drinks. Very nice day.......have fun !!
