What type of laundry facilities does carnival have?..Is it a coin operated one and you do it yourself?....Or do you send your clothes to a service they supply and have them done for a fee?............Thanks
There are laundry facilities on several floors. On the Triumph, the washing machines were 2.00 and the dryers were 1.50. You could purchase single use boxes of Cheer for 75 cents.
I just put my laundry in, went to watch a show, and came back to transfer, so it was a breeze.
I refuse to do laundry on my vacation. The prices are not any worse than on shore, so I send out anything that needs to be done. BTW, the quality of the work has always been very good.

Our ship does not have self-serve laundry facilities (Holiday). How much is normally charged to do casual clothing (shorts, shirts, etc)? How long does it usually take to get them back? I don't plan on doing laundry since it's only a 5 day cruise, and hope to bring enough clothing just in case. Hopefully, the kids won't go through them so fast
Neecy: On the Triumph (Apr. 5th, Western Caribbean), there was a laundromat right down the hall from us on the Riviera Deck (lowest deck), but we never used it.
I had the ship's laundry wash and iron a new shirt I brought for Formal Night--$3.00 There was a special on laundry about mid-week. You could get all your laundry washed and folded--all that would fit into one laundry bag--for around $12.00. Next time I go, I will not bring as many clothes. Laundry and dry-cleaning service was quite efficient.
