washing clothes

I am tired of everytime I go on a cruise I tent to over pack, has any one every washed during there cruise? If so did you have to take your own soap?

there is soap you can buy on the ship. But you might want to bring some of your own if you don't like the soap they have.

Take 3 swimsuits/2 pairs of shorts/I dressy thingy/underwear/ and leave the rest of the room for booze... If you drink enough you won't care! lol
Really they do have self-serve laundry rooms and also about halfway thru the cruise they will offer and laundry "sale" and what you can put in the bag is a flat fee.

Nice thing about having self service laundry rooms on ships, you can under-pack. Even doing just one load of clothes during the week is a huge help. Also, now with the airline weight restrictions, why over-pack? You can either bring soap or just purchase from the vending machines in the laundry rooms, very easy.

I had read that I would need to bring water softner? Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi Passionmango,
They also sell Downey with the dertegent in the laundry rooms, but you can bring some sheets if you want..Darn, I should of done that :-)

Thanks for the information, I always take bounce sheets on any trip since it keeps my shoes fresh.
