I looked up the "averages" for Nassau and it looks to be an average high of 79 and an average low of 63 with an average of 2 inches of rain throughout the month.
The averages in Nov. are 82/68 so early december may be closer to those numbers.
I cruised to Nassau in December and it was really nice there. Not too hot but very comfortable. Just a warning bring a light jacket as it can get cold coming back into Florida. I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

You may even find the humidity is a bit lower at that time, but still nice and warm....I bet you are able to swim at Atlantis. Was there in Oct. last year and it was still very warm and humid.
Thanks friends! I'm hoping its still warm enough to swim at Atlantis!
I have been to the Bahamas on cruises four times (3 times early January and once in Dec.) and have always found the weather warm enough to swim and enjoy the beach.
I'd get a cab or number 10 Jitney bus and head to the Fish fry/Arawak cay for lunch where the locals eat then ask them to point you in the right direction and walk to the zoo Ardastra Gardens and zoo. Make sure to feed the parrots and watch the flamingo show then head back to the straw market for Christmas shopping!
