Morning Mates, from "variable cloudy" Pictou County -NOT! looks more like a snowstorm to me, and that was not forecast until tomorrow - in New Brunswick! We were supposed to get 10-15 cms tomorrow, but it has already started and looks to be a messy rush hour this morning.(Not that there actually is a "rush hour" here, but roads will be slick....)
Snow or not, I will be at the pool this morning for my aquafitness class!
Morning from the Pacific Northwest..........warmer today........about 40...........I'll take it.......rain but no white stuff..........you on the east coast can keep it.....
Up early for work.......so much fun.....gonna be a long day.......
They hit our forecast right on today...Rain and more rain. They have even said there is a possiblity of flash flooding in some areas. It's a muddy mess outside but I'll take this over snow anyday. It is going to be a busy day for me today. Dr. appt at 9:30 am then a stop at Staples to pick up some supplies for the office. Need to be back by 1 to take Mom to her weekly beauty shop trip. Need to try and get a run to Wal Mart in after that if time allows.
RD, sorry you are getting snow but you can have it. Safe travels for you today.
Mike, Hope you are feeling better everyday. Take it easy and do what the good Dr. says.
Todd, thinking of you and hoping things are going ok.
LuAnne, don't know when you are leaving but have a good time when you do.
It's going to be an ovecast and increasingly warm but rainy day here in upper East Tennessee with a high of 64F before turning cooler and clearing up tomorrow sometime.
For those of you who are "techies" and sailors and who are familiar with nautical charts, I've included an animated chart with a voice over by a man identified as a nautical expert that demonstrates on a map exactly what happened and when aboard the Costa Concordia including what was done when and all the mistakes that were made resulting in the tragedy. This may be found at Reconstruction of the Costa Concordia Tragedy, Narration by John Konrad on Vimeo . It also states when abandoning ship should have occurred prior to the ship hitting the rocks causing it to turn on its side. I found it most informative.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday and prayers and Blessings continue.

Good morning from a chilly, wet Texas. We should be drying out some later today.
We are leaving town on Sunday for OK, so today I need to get things ready. Making lists of things to take with us. We are being forced to drive, so Jim will pick up the rental on Sun morning, and I will have everything ready. It should take us about 5 hours to drive.
Jim is looking forward to getting back into the classroom, and I am looking forward to having a day, where I can workout, eat, read, and not clean. Eating out every night works for me too.
Good morning from a soon to be wet Philly! Last workday of the week for me. I am a little jealous today, my rotten little sister and her no good husband are in Aruba for two weeks .
Not much going on of note so I will make this short.
Everyone have a great day and Luanne - here is a recent triplet picture:

Good morning everyone.
I did manage to get about five hours of sleep last night. That's about the highest number of consecutive hours I've had in a while.
Nothing on the agenda for today except to pay some bills.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday and that the upcoming weekend is a great one.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Hopefully the knee will start to heal. I still have two weeks until we officially unwrap it and see how things are. I can at least hobble up and down the stairs now. It isn't easy but I can do it. So I got that going for me and I couldn't do it on Saturday.
Take care,
Mike

Rain, rain and more rain for today and tonight. We may need to get out the boat. It has been a mild winter but way too much rain. We need to see some sunshine.
Nothing on the agenda except home exercises. Two more weeks of this 24 hour sling. The arm is beginning to feel like it is mine. Tried to hold a small glass and drink some water, it was not pretty since I have to push the arm up with my left hand but I did get a few sips without spilling any.
Good Morning cruisemates! Out on my patio perch enjoying my coffee and watching the early golfers go by. Temps all weekend are going to be in the mid 70s, which is just about perfect.
Taking my mother out for lunch today. Haven't seen her much the last two weeks with all the visitors who've been in town.
Have a few days before the next wave starts arriving.

Another overcast day here in south Texas..but it sure got chilly. I had to actually turn the heater on today!
Moiraine, you and your Dad are in my prayers. I know something of what you are going through as I cared for a very ill husband for many years...
God bless you.
Doug, the picture of those girls is the sweetest thing I have seen in a long time!
Mike, I have a feeling that knee is just going to get better and better!!
