I've recently booked my very first cruise..NCL Spirit-western caribbean- Dec. 16th. I have a ton of questions. Does anyone know if the Spirit rents tuxedos? Or more accurately tuxedo pants with a White Jacket. Also, I am a big Fedora wearer...dare I take a vintage hat or two onboard? Think they'll look ok on a cruise ship? Thanks for any help you can give. And I'm sure I'll be asking tons more questions in the next two months!
dear JCBurns- i think that this lady might be able to help you out a bit.
First off you have chosen NCL and Freestyle cruising which means that most people will be dressing casual. Yes they do have a formal night, but the vast majority of men wear dark business suits, over basic classic tuxedos, but it is your call.
You should be able to rent your formalwear- go to the cruiselines web site and the info should be there.
If you want to wear your fedora's go for it, tres chic
