Will Princess do anything for an inaugural Cruise out of Gal

Will Princess do anything for an inaugural Cruise out of Galveston? Will there be anything special? Or will there be nothing at all?
We booked the Balcony on her for November 5th but recently found a 10 day inside for the same price? Though Galveston is close to out home in Fort Worth. Though airfare is not an issue.

Also it would be nice to be on newly refurbished ship.

The other ship is the Sun Princess out of FLL and it goes to a lot of places we have never been?

Would love you input folks.

It is unlikely that there will be anything special done for run-of-the-mill passengers. Certain local officials might be invited on the cruise, or there might even be an overnight cruise beforehand for such people.
