Pre-Cruise Stay in LA?

Hi,

I'm looking for a nice romantic hotel for a Friday night stay, in the LA/Hollywood area, before boarding our honeymoon cruise. Any suggestions?

Need a little more info about your back ground.

Are flying info Los Angle or driving ?
Which airport?

Are you using cruise line shuttle ?

Sorry, I was in a rush to type this up.

Flying in to LAX and setting up own transportation to San Pedro. Just want to stay in the LA/Hollywood area and not go out as far as Santa Monica, beaches, etc.

Hollywood in LA is even further from LAX then Santa Monica.
If your looking for a romantic or unique hotel . Consider the Queen Mary in Long Beach. It's an old ocean liner converted to a floating hotel. Give a taste of what it was like to cross the Atlantic 50 years ago.
