Ammolite

I have fallen in love with the gem ammolite and bought a necklace last year in St Marten. I am cruising again in March, this time to Barbados, Antigua, Tortola and St. Lucia. Does anyone know a good place to purchase ammolite jewelry on any of these islands? I would love to get another piece. Thanks!

I think for the islands youmentione Barbados first then Antigua are you r best bet....A few yrs back as this stone became popular the HAL ship we were on sold it..I can bet most ships also showcase it.......Price items onboard first, then look in port. Goood luck!

It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites,which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite,the same mineral that makes up nacreous pearls.
